Thurman R. Rosen, 75, of 304 W. Market St., died at 2:10 a.m. Friday in Culver Hospital. Mr. Rosen was a retired farmer in the New Richmond area and was also a carpenter and painter. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Virginia. Mr. Rosen was born on Oct. 23, 1900 in Rockbridge County, Virginia, the son of Andrew J. and Mary Hess Reed Rosen. He married Verna Bowles on Jan. 6, 1922, in Crawfordsville. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Don of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Eileen) Carlson of Linden and Mrs. Max (Jean) Sayler of Philadelphia, Pa.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
